Maybe Lusitania should be in Maple 3..could be a long season for the Wave in Maple..

Their long season already started, lost 7-1 in their opener. Lusitana won 3-0

Yes, but perhaps Lusitania should have played at least Maple 3 vs MASC and Wave played in MASC. tough losing a coach like that and then having to face a long season.

It was a horrible loss and I know the girls were devastated but the reality is that at least half of that team is gone and the rest are new girls.

What makes you think Lusitana would have fared better than the Wave? They only posted 1 goal wins over Nova and Liverpool, both D3 teams that had a rough opening weekend.

I do not have a daughter on either team but I know many of the players on both. I do think that Lusitana is stronger.

It appears the Wave is weaker than last year and the current U14 Lusitana team is actually stronger team than last's Wave team. More practical coaching to compete in games.

We'll see if Lusitania enters State Cup and see..MASC not that strong competition..BW beat the Explosion team in MASC by 9 to 0 in CT tournament.

should have at least entered MAPLE 3..not like it was that hard this year to get in.

Lusitana would have had to had played in Maple qualifying tournament last June.

Wave was in Maple D3 last spring. Was relegated out of Maple and then they did not re- qualify in June. However, with several trams leaving Maple for NEP, Maple pushed remaining teams up, thus opening up spots for those teams who originally did not re-qualify in June including NE Wave.

There is some order to why the 2 teams are playing where they are playing.

New England Wave still exsists? I guess as long as Phil has his team they probably should have a reason to exsist. By why any other age groups, they take anyone that comes into the parking lot with money.
