Tell those on the boarder how many good players he's lost to his own ego. He runs the soccer equivalent of Abby-lee Miller & Soccer Moms - fall river. Abby wins a lot too doesn't she? If its that terrific why does nefc - corporate still have him pinned down in maple and not with the good nefc teams of the NEP? Isn't that the proverbial big fish in the smallest of ponds? It would never just come down to profit would it ??????

They have two teams in the NEP and have had another team in the NEP that moved back to MAPLE with the best NEFC and Stars teams. The Stars of Mass don't have many teams left in NEP either.

I don't know how many players they lost. Maybe you could let us know? How many RI players are playing there right now?

Sounds to me like you coach at a club, or run a club, that has lost players to NEFC. Must be a Bayside poster considering the NEP references.

Has to be a parent or coach from the rising Bayside U14 girls. 3 or 4 girls from that team went to NEFC PM.

If you're a parent, ask yourself what happened that caused all of those talented kids to leave. If you're a coach, you have to ask yourself how you allowed such a talented team to fall apart. If you reassembled that team under good coaches, you'd have a contender for Regionals.

That's true, but I have some familiarity with that Bayside team, and I don't know that any of them were recruited away from Bayside. They just all left. I don't know the order, but they lost a forward mid year, then at the end of the year two other forwards/middies left, causing a third to leave. One of their best players is at Nova, and I don't know what the recruiting pitch would have been like there. What dream were they selling? Not to play for lunatic coaches?

Nobody told the team that these players were leaving, so many on the team stayed without knowing that the team wouldn't be the same. At least six that I know of were actively practicing with other teams during the year last year because they were trying to get out.

For two years in a row Bayside has lost significant numbers of U12 players going into their U13 year. Maybe the parent coaching from Bristol concept is wearing thin?

Is it because she never had her chance to play for Bayside ? Why don't you talk about her SS select team and why girls are leaving there too? Will she follow MK to NEFC to get coached by PM?

Well from what I saw at tryouts they picked up a couple very talented players. One is a very talented girl who plays multiple positions. I think they are better off in the mid position with the addition of 2 of these girls & it looks like they also picked up a decent defender. They will be the team to beat in the U14 state cup.
