PDA Spring Kickoff is on March 31 this yr, send down some of your U14 and below teams. Our college showcase is May 26, send down your older teams.....we can always use some filler teams in our B brackets to help keep the costs down for the good team..Havent seen you guys at either in the past.....perhaps we will get to see your state's best players when they come down with their MA teams

If you need filler teams then Bayside is the club for you. they have many teams that can chew up your turf with their great foot skills. They won't score too much but they will look great doing it. Parents even cheer great shot when they shoot the ball 10 feet over the crossbar.

Seriously, something has got to change in your life. Getting a job seems like a good idea. The amount of time you spend online trash talking kids is a great indicator that you need something else to do. Then, maybe, just maybe you could afford to pay for your young athlete to play soccer at club that teaches the finer aspects of the game instead of lurking online to see what discussion threads you can attempt to disrupt with your childish comments.

Give credit were it is due instead of being a hater! Obviously your kid did not make it out of first round of state cup never mind advance as state champs! The U-16's advanced to the semi's and were beat By the NUMBER 1 TEAM IN THE COUNTRY. Who cares what the score was I was there and my kid was unhappy to be beat,but saw what it looks like to have a team that is truly so deep that it did not matter who was on the field they were just awesome. Maybe instead of being an armchair critic you should come out and have a look for yourself, while there not all fantastic players there are several that are quite good...

This is a great example of the knowledge of RI posters.

Regionals success has far more to do with the draw than the ability of the team.

The U16 Bayside team got the draw of the century at Regionals.

Teams you don't want to draw if you are RI

Maryland
New Jersey
Virginia
New York East
Penn East

And if you're a RI team

Massachusetts
Connecticut

Bayside got NYW, WVA, and PAE in their draw last year. They got lucky and drew Delco, who is not the top team in their state association, and even though they lost to Delco, they took care of business against Rochester and the WV team.

In the semifinal, they lost by SEVEN goals. SEVEN.

The team they lost to by SEVEN lost by 3 to PDA in the final.

Winning the Regionals means you had to beat a couple of good teams. Making the semifinal doesn't necessarily mean you beat anybody.

That's what happened to Bayside. Bayside U16 is NOT one of the best teams in Region I. They are NOT one of the best teams in New England, and they will have their hands full but may still win RI state cup.
