Blackwatch has a U15 team as far as I know. I don't know much about Bruno but every time I meet someone from Bruno they are EX-Bruno people. Maybe someone can fill us in on what is going on at Bruno.

What I know and hear from other parents is that it's hard to keep your child at Bruno when you only train 1 day a week for 1 hour and during that hour you see a club that you are competing with train 3 days a week for a total 4.5 hours FOR THE SAME PRICE! We will not be at Bruno tryouts next season.

Looks like Rams and Bayside will be in the final for State Cup. No RI team can touch bayside U14 boys to many studs and the rest of the teams are sub-par.

I have seen that Bayside team play they are good, but beatable not sure by a RI team. I have seen the Rams play and they are a joke, their coach is out of control yelling most of the time. I have seen the BWP U14 play and was not impressed plus they have turmoil with that team. Have not seen Bruno, Lusitana or RISC.

RISC isn't part of the sub-par group cause they cant play state cup. I was talking about bwp bruno rams lusitana. And no I have not seen RISC but you think they can beat bayside? You and the other 17 sets of parents on your team are the only people who think they can win. Not only would bayside beat them I could see a score of 7-0 ok maybe 5-0.

It seems from talking to some people who claim to have some knowledge of these teams that Bruno and BW are only going to compete in a=some tournaments. BW is certainly not going to try to be either R1PL or subregional with the loss of so many players. Bruno is not going to be NEP as that only goes up to U14. Only the u15 Rays are going to take a shot at the region 1 level in the subregionla category and Bayside will go to D2 maple where they will probably fare pretty well.

You have to play in a MASC Maple nep sub-region to play state cup. So is bw not playing state cup?

As for some of the premier teams losing players or disbanding, what is the status of the u15 girls Bruno and Blackwatch? Will these teams exist, and if so, will they play in Maple?

I heard Bruno U14 Girls are all but done. Anyone else hear this?

I have seen both teams play and Bayside is the stronger team IMO. I think it is fair to say that Bayside would dominate the game. I doubt 5-0 but I could see a 3-1 dominant victory.

I do appreciate the RISC groups tenacity though.

You really think they could get 3 goals past that stingy RISC back line and RISC's tremendously talented goalkeeper? :)

I'm terribly biased, of course :)

Bayside has the best U14 boys team in RI, no question. I love the way they play the game.

The rays u-15 will be playing sub -regional as they have for a few years but they are yet to be to succesful ...

I heard from some Bayside G U14 parents that the U15 team has lost some of their better players. Don't know if it is really true of course!

Bayside did lose a strong center back but that was it. They picked up a very good fwd from rays and a mid from BWP I think we have 17 girls rostered this year compared to last years 14 so some new faces. They should be a strong group again this season style of play is great!
