they want to get all these girls recruited for their last year. they will take a large amount of kids to do that. as kids get committed, either most will start to not go to games as often bc the parents don't want to spend the money to travel to the game, or kids lose interest in getting recruited bc there have been no bites. also, injuries can happen. the rosters for U19 in the spring is pretty anemic

After seeing it twice with two different teams I can say PF and PDA are the only teams with more than one or two subs, and this with the game day roster having players from the team, rl and playing up. Proms orientation official visits and of course injuries get in the way. And this is with a 20 plus roster so 30 is probably about the right size to field a proper sized team each week. And remember you’re taking on the 06s and trapped 05s which in itself increases the roster size.

as a parent of a current senior, people complained about a roster size of 24 at the beginning of the season. Some spring games now we only had 1-2 subs. you'd like to see the commitment from the other girls, but you just don't. they drop off for the reasons you stated. that other guy has no clue, but i guess he'll find out lol

It's real obvious that the team that we all came from is struggling for numbers and so they are on here campaigning against Ukies.
GA sucks
You cannot develop without 20 ECNL games
30 person roster too big
WPSL is a crap league
Not enough seats at the bar
Etc etc etc
