Wow what does this say about bucks? Supposedly bucks 06 is their best team and Ukies 06 is one of the worst Ukies teams. Shocking the game was that close - looks like bucks is on a downward spiral while Ukies appears to be up and coming.

You do realize the Ukies had ZERO shots on goal, and only penetrated the Bucks 18 once. Ukies get credit for possession of the ball in defensive third and mid field.

Why bother. They will have three teams and more to come from younger ages competing at GA national events. They don’t need ECNL. There local niche is come actually play in a league championship and get seen by all the top coaches in the top flights or play for Delco, FCB, etc and play in the 7th flight of an ECNL showcase. Pretty easy decision if you’re a girl in Bucks or Mont counties. Pretty easy decision for parents since they have a bar.

Truth - I’ve been pretty impressed with how Ukies is doing and the college exposure GA is bringing along with the college showcase they put on at their own facility - another plus in addition to a bar they have their own turf fields. #ukiesrising

They are certainly rising above clubs like Bucks. GAL is a tough League top to bottom. Ukies would even be able to compete with PDA let alone Bucks.

Ukies are on the move up! They will never again lose a player to an ECNL club, including PDA.

Saying you are better than Bucks is a pretty low bar. Doesn't matter how you judge success, league standings, tournament results or college commits, Bucks trails in most categories on both boys and girls side. The 05 and the 06 teams at Bucks are the top age groups and even those two teams aren't setting the world on fire.
Bucks completely outsourced the boys side to Dominion. Bucks ECNL boys no longer exists, other than in name only, and next year that changes too.
Girls are hanging on to the ECNL badge by a thread and this 5 club merger won't help as none of those clubs have significant girls programs.
ECNL in Las Vegas has discussed minimum coaching standards, ie certifications, needed. This is going for an executive committee vote at yhe Nationals meeting. If it passes Bucks have another obstacle since they fured all thrir coaches with certifications to hire the HS coaches.
Ukies, with all their issues, are making forward progress and a lot of that will be tied to the recognition of GA in the college coaching community. So far its been well received and if current trends hold will be on par with ECNL within 3 years.
Ukies owning their own fields is a huge advantage and allows them to invest in other areas. While current management always reserves the right to screw it up, Ukies has more promising potential.

Obviously you have been hitting the bar in the clubhouse GAL is like every other league- they have top teams, middle teams and low teams

You got all that from a single match at a pre-season showcase tournament and weren't even there to see the balance of play. That is impressive.
