How do we lose to PDA South 6-0, but only 2-1 to SJEB? Is the difference between GA and ECNL that wide? Makes no sense.

The bottom half of ECNL is just stronger than even top of GA. SJEB is 3rd in the division. PDA South close to last. That’s how strong ECNL is every game is a grind.

One was a showcase where everyone plays even minutes. The other was a league game where that it isn’t the case. Plus it’s soccer.

Agree but in all fairness the weather was quite poor that day at the Penn Fusion event.

I think it’s more playing even time which is the Ukie philosophy when playing showcases. But maybe PDA South did the same. Who knows. It’s soccer. Sometimes the score reflects the true game and sometimes it doesn’t.

No one is trying to convince anyone of anything just pointing out that losing to an ECNL club 6-0 is not the end of the world. Someone pointed out that CSA lost to PDA 9-0 and fluke games like that can happen. Keep the faith.

Instead of picking on a girl’s team because of their record, coach or league, maybe we can focus on positives and keep things in perspective with all that is going on in Ukraine.

Asked this in another ukie thread, but younger age group by mistake. Have coaching assignments for next year been announced yet? Any idea who will be coaching the older girls age groups, 06s and 04/05s?

It should be Don Overmier. He's currently the 06 and 05's coach.

Sorry someone posted that PDA beat CSA 9-0. Must have been another game in that same showcase. Crazy score lines. Is ECNL that far ahead of GA?
