People who haven’t been through it just don’t understand but senior year typically about half of the players miss any given game. ID clinics, even after recruited college coach will want them there, sat, proms, formals, official visits, orientation, graduations, and of course injuries. There really won’t be many sitting.

They got stuck with a useless coach (CF) when DC left, 3rd in ECNL behind PDA Blue & Penn Fusion last season to 9th with CF coaching (or lack of) this past season.

Good teams by this age don’t fall apart from only bad coaching. There were either lots of injuries, girls just not showing up literally or figuratively, or they realized not getting recruited at the level they wanted so quit. The new coach may or may have not been bad been these almost adult kids must be blamed just as much for that much of a decline.

Being good in HS soccer is akin to being the smartest kid on the short bus. Not the burn anyone thinks it is.
