He has a great staff and Tom Anderson and Larry Hart are always around. Tom and Larry run PDA and the club would have NO problem id Mike was gone, although nobody wants that to happen.

FC Bucks cannot have success with a part-time DOC that is coaching teams. This does not help the club move much beyond where they were before. This is better than where we were a few weeks ago, but it isn't a long term fix for the future of the club. As for JM, he does a really nice job. With a little support, he can carry the club.

Why didn’t the club make JM the DOC then? Was he even considered? JM does have a great track record when he was with the strikers helping his players commit to D1 schools and he is also an A licensed coach.

Still think the club is far better off than it was a few weeks ago and can’t wait to see the big changes CM was talking about in his email.

Not really. As the kids got older and the competition stronger, strikers did not. JM a hard time placing some kids.
I was at the NEFC vs Strikers game at PDA tourney (when NEFC was still NPL). Both were in non ECNL division.
NEFC won 5 or 6 to 0. A lot of coaches stopped going to strikers games after.

I and a few others I know will not bring my daughter to tryouts at this club on this team if this parent coach remains. I will continue to check back here after May 1st so please keep me posted.

Problem is as VP of FC Bucks, he will always "remain" - he will always interfere, and his kid, will always be guaranteed spot on the top team regardless of whether she deserves it or not. The main outstanding questions are how much influence will CM or a new coach allow BB to have when it comes to playing time decisions and positions.. Right now, pretty much everyone agrees he was way too much influence, both on the sidelines and behind the scenes. Hopefully CM makes it known that at the ECNL level there will be no daddy coaches and no daddies on the sidelines. Period. Also, hopefully the new coach that will be replacing RF is strong enough to tell BB to back off and let him run the team.

Truer words were never spoken. BB fooled people for a long time with his “chill” attitude. But BB is very into everything that goes on at Bucks and underneath the relaxed nice guy attitude is a master manipulator. BB has been pulling the strings of this team and age group forever - he put the master in puppet master. If the new DOC hopes to be successful he needs to keep BB away from this team - and all the FC Bucks teams.

I still will. Most still will that I know. I’m cool either way it goes. They stay or go, most don’t care and will support the team and club either way.

That is hitting the nail on the head! There can be no other explanation for the fact that he hasn’t been in contact with his team at all! What kind of coach was he?
