Par for the course - have heard absolutely nothing from the coaches of the team and minimal communication from the club - but they have the audacity to schedule tryouts in the midst of this global pandemic when people are dying and out of work - it is abhorrent!

The lack of self awareness Bucks displays is mind boggling - it’s painfully obvious they take cues from the erstwhile VP of FC Bucks - none other than the dad assistant BB, who’s own lack of self awareness is leading to the demise of this team. Abhorrent is the perfect word!

I don’t see it. Either way we have soccer returning in November or next spring. It’s a long break either way.

FC Bucks pay the same, or more, than clubs offering way more!! The DOC is a failure!! This is all about leadership, and FC Bucks have none. Simple change, adding two full-time DOC's and clean house of current people.

Parents and players want regularly scheduled practices, a minimum of 2 nights a week.

Train consistently 2-3 times a week on turf (the minimum as stated by ECNL) as an ECNL club, all teams together. U13 to U15 first session, and the U16-19 in the second session. With younger players being moved up to train from time to time.

NO cancelled practices, unless serious weather issues. Back-up plan is needed too. VIRUS back-up plan is needed!!

10-month speed, agility and ACL prevention program.

Parents and players want training and game feedback/evaluations.

Parents and players want a dedicated college recruiting coordinator.

DOC has to be involved with every team, not a single team. The focus should be working with all the players and teams as an ECNL club.

No parent coach coaching their own child after U12, but best after U10. No parent ECNL coaches! You cannot coach your own child at ECNL level.

Coaches must have a minimum of a USSF B license as suggested by the ECNL.

The DOC position must have standards, right now that is not the case.

FC Bucks must follow ECNL guidelines.

The parents and players want to stay at FC Bucks, and they want the club to function with standards like the rest of the ECNL. We have everything to be an excellent club. Simple, but hard changes need to be made now!!

The root cause of the issues is the fault of the DOC.
we get it. Stop posting this already

How is it ECNL still lets FC Bucks in its league. They clearly follow none of the standards set by ECNL. Everyone likes to compare FC Bucks to Delco, as if being 2nd worst is ok. At least Delco is trying. Can anyone name one thing that FC Bucks has done recently to improve?

Connecticut Football Club using Techne Futbol app

East Meadow posting virtual trainings and drills from club coaches and trainers.

            and from Matchfit:

"Starting 3/30 our players and teams will alter to a training and development regimen at home. Weekly team training plans, session videos with our directors, tactical analysis education, college counseling, live podcasts and more! Development is never postponed. We will get through this together!"

            PDA : online leaning platform

FC Delco: online training and weekly development meetings with coaches.

            And the local EDP clubs
P.A. Rush - online college recruitment q&a with college coaches. Virtual Learning center

YMS -DOC created an individual training program for players to work on at home and is uploading YouTube videos of trainings for players to work on.

Ukies - using Techne Futbol Soccer training app, having zoom meetings with coaches

            FC Bucks - Nothing!!!
So basically many other clubs out there both ECNL and EDP have managed to come up with something for their players.

Bucks comes out with NOTHING except a tryout schedule asking you to pay another $20.00 for the privilege of trying out - meanwhile they have all of our money for this whole season which doesn’t look like it’s happening. At the very least they should not be charging for tryouts, and we all really deserve some kind of refund.

Bucks is a gigantic mess and this crisis has demonstrated the complete and utter lack of leadership. Anyone who signs up for this mess again is a fool. As demonstrated from the above the patch at this club gets you nothing and is not worth the material it’s printed on.

            Buyer Beware!

Well we now have 11-12 months to figure out what club you want your kid to play at for next spring. Everyone is free to use that time to find the best club that fits your child.

Who in their right mind would sign up to pay $10K 11-12 months from now for FC Bucks knowing that every other team you would be playing was doing some sort of virtual training to maintain skills during this off period, while FC Bucks did nothing.

Doesn’t matter now. Everyone has a year to shop around. You’ll leave bucks since you’re not happy. Not every club is for everyone. Most will use this time to look around and see where the best fit is for their kids. Don’t need to bash your “ex”. Be excited for your new crush.

At this point, I a just curious what redeeming qualities FC Bucks possesses? What would make you or anyone consider staying other than a patch?

Not at club but from my perspective still a good club with good teams and players. They also play in a good league. I wouldn’t hesitate to have my daughter play there. Just my two cents.

Now would be a good time for your team’s head coach to get in touch with your daughters and see how they’re doing.
