Interestingly enough, the 06 age group started paying dues directly to the club rather than to a parent treasurer. When things were managed by a parent treasurer, the dues would be adjusted or decreased based on the number of players. For the entire 06 age group, it is now just a flat amount irrespective of how many players are on a team, paid directly to the club. This has allowed a couple of things to happen:

1. the ECNL team can carry a smaller roster without any increase in dues
2. BB doesn't have to pay dues for his kid, and no one will know about it.
3. Higher than standard per diem payments can be made to RF without any transparency.

The most interesting part of all of this is that the switch in the payment model from a parent treasurer to paying the club directly was not implemented club wide. Just the 06 age group. Why not??

Does BB really not pay dues for his daughter? If true, we are even bigger fools than I realized. That would mean we subsidize her dues and allow him to interfere with the team. It also means that soon we will be paying for her and allowing him to tale advantage of the college recruiting process to benefit his own kid. A double whammy!’n

All fc bucks teams do not do it this way. That simply is not true.

1. You are presented a price and agree to pay it. Can't worry about what others negotiate. Some are better at it than others.
2. You'd be surprised at who does and who doesn't pay full tuition
3. You need to take ownership of your own recruiting. Your kid is responsible for making schools of interest aware she exists.
4. Coaches, if interested, will contact whoever you provide as a reference. I am not sure why that would be BB and not RF.

Agreed. Let’s stick to the facts.

Why is their an assistant coach, dad or not, not listed as in on the ECNL site?
And why, if he is one, are the parents covering this up?

As a parent of a soccer player, reading all of this, the thing I keep coming back to that I don’t understand is why are all these parents making their kids radioactive? You don’t think coaches talk? If you don’t get invited back next year, aren’t you concerned that you’re hurting your daughter’s chances of making another ECNL, GDA or strong EDP team? Maybe that’s not important to you or your daughter but if it is, why do you keeping making her chances more difficult? If you have equally talented players competing for a spot, am I going to take the one with the parent that tried to get what they wanted by embarrassing the club? Hell no!!! No club is perfect. If I’m the coach at the next club and you don’t get your way, what are you going to do to try to embarrass me? The best thing you can do is stop posting right now.
