You shouldn’t be afraid of fair tryouts and a new coach. If your kid is that good they will be fine - the cream always rises to the top.

It’s more a tearing down of the management of the team and club, and rightfully so - how any parent /or kid could be happy with the situation on the team is beyond me.
The writing is on the wall if changes aren’t made the team will never be successful because they are not being managed properly. You can’t be successful if don’t train. It’s really not complicated, and it will be hard for this team to draw any talent with the reputation it has. It’s all really sad actually because in the end it’s the girls and their college dreams that are getting short changed.

I don’t see the actual team (girls) being mentioned much.

That is the ironic thing - people complaining on here actually want things to change so that this team can improve and be better. The doofuses who try and deny the existing problems and deflect from them are actually ok with being mediocre and dont want to see this team improve. One has to as why this is? Why would any parent (or player) not want to get better. When you start to ask these type of questions, the answer becomes quite clear - parents are afraid their kids may not be good enough to make the team if change were to happen and tryouts were to be fair and open.

Is Misty a mom of one of the players on your team? Why is she so against RL leagues? I am stunned by this thread.
