Is Sachem Soccer making a comeback or are they going to lose their fields?
Should Sachem be a top tier program by now?
That's what we were promised when LIPS came in Top level training to make elite teams with people flocking to the club to play. Instead he takes the players to fill out the Smithtown teams and the kids that remain go to KK or Lake Grove

Except the lgn teams are better then smithown all day long
Sachem still has one of the strongest intramural programs around. Once you hit travel the top players, by design, will be shifted to the LI Slammers or Smithtown Slammers. Some people see that as a good thing. Others see it as a bad thing.

If you mean the LI Slammers, sure. That makes sense. But I am talking about Sachem teams, meaning Sachem Slammers, and I am pretty sure that they are only about half that.

once a team (any team, for any club) employs a trainer you are looking at least $1000 bill (bare minimum for your little rugrat to play soccer (on top of registration and uniform fees).

Right, so $1000 + $300 registration + $100 = $1400, half of the $2800 LI Slammers charges.
Sachem is a perfectly functioning town club. Below U13, their A team is pretty good for the leage they are in and the B team plays at an appropriately competitive level. The kids on those teams are perfectly happy and the parents happy not to have to shlep 45 min each way for a 3x a week practice and not pay and arm and a leg. What more do you think they want?

Thanks Tommy. Sachem used to have teams up to U19 before you showed up.
