I am a parent on the susa g2010 team i have tried to comment many times on back of the net but none of my messages are getting posted. I am not sure if anyone reads this site but i cannot believe what is happening in the girls 2010 league. the last game that was supposed to be susa against susa did not happen! i do not appreciate the message this sends to my daughter and her teammates. even if the outcome would be the same because the younger girls are very good i want my daughter to still play and compete. this did not happen and i think it is a complete disgrace how the coaches in the league are handling this. i am somewhat new to this how is this even allowed in the league.

The league schedule shows that SUSA G11 vs SUSA G10 Blue as a forfeit by G10 Blue. The schedule shows no game was played, you'll have to ask the SUSA management why no game was played. It is entirely up to them.Comment

Here’s the story. Complete scam, Susa should be ashamed of themselves. It was all about getting their 2011 team into a first place tie and then onto the champions cup. Terrible life lessons to teach these kids. A game was scheduled between Susa's own two teams on the same night they practice. Yet there was no game played, and there are plenty of witnesses to attest to this. Susa entered a 1-0 score the next day. Only to get busted. So Gary Grossman ran to the rescue and changed it to a forfeit. A forfeit? Isn't that when a team cannot make the game? Funny that both teams practiced that night. Gary also changed tie breaker rules. The NYCSL website earlier this week said the tie breaker was goal differential. Magically this week he added a new rule (line f in the rules) that for tournament entry, head to head will be used. Gary was called out on that in person and was stumbling over his words. Didn't know how to explain that the rules on the website changed a couple of days prior. Gary Grossman and SUSA are stealing a championship game from 10 year olds. From Emsc the rightful division winner. . And awarding it to a team who took forfeits their last two games. One of which was shady (CSH sour grapes), one of which was a total scam and they were caught in a lie. Susa's own parents (on both teams) are embarrassed by their club's behavior. The club should be punished and Gary should be a man of his word. You left the field yesterday, Gary, and said "I will figure out a way to fix this". Well, what's the solution? You owe these Emsc girls a championship game. Have a little integrity and do the right thing. Disgusting behavior by Susa and the league.Comment

To the original poster, now you know. Your club was trying to help their prized 2011 team at your child’s expense. And they got busted in a lie. Original score posted was 1-0 yet there was no game as you know. And they are scrambling to cover it up with a forfeit, with the shady league’s help.Comment

Gary Grossman and NYCSL are just as bad as SUSA in this situation. Every time a new score is entered, the standings update to show EMSC as the team in first place. This is based on the real tie breaker, goal differential. Then Gary updates the standings manually to show SUSA 11 in first based on a new tie breaker rule he decided to roll out just this week to help his SUSA buddies. Happened again yesterday after LGN-Alby score was posted. System updated to show EMSC in first. All of a sudden this morning, there's SUSA 11 back in first. Scam. Gary chasing the money....Comment
