The cycle of life at KK. Nothing has changed. My son was there u8 to u10 during the Sachem merger. By u10 more players were needed for 7v7 so the patchworking had already begun. Tryouts were always 2 or so kids, just enough to make up for the few who always left. Decent players forced to play with very very bad players, which led to poor training sessions. Finally we left and that KK team lasted maybe another year of patchworking. Now there is no boys u13, u12, or u11, and the u10 is experiencing this same thing, 2 mergers later

Not Matt, but i have to say that he is not far off. Atletico/kk is a complete disaster. Not enough teams/players to put out of the field, Turf is horrendous and 25 years old, coaching from parents if terrible when your paying 2k a year... Should i continue? I pulled my young son out of there 2 years ago after hearing Raul yell and scream at himself all practice and whatever games he showed up as.

Raul was yet another worthless trainer here. One game we were getting beat pretty bad because we only had 8 players, for 9v9, and 3 of them were girls that we borrowed. I look over and Raul is sitting on the bench arms folded the entire game. After the game I approach him and he says "they don't want to come to practice then I'm not coaching them anymore". Unto which I replied but my kid comes to practice and ur still not coaching him. He just walked away. That's what over $2k a year gets you. We left shortly thereafter

And yet it's all she does all day on multiple forums. After speaking to many many parents in the soccer community, CJ is very well known, and not in a good way by any stretch of the imagination. She has rubbed many many people the wrong way, and she is a direct partial reason why atletico is down to 10 teams

Yes we at Atletico are just fine. Since you have left we have undergone yet another merger, and have completely lost 3 age groups combined, 2 boys, 1 girls. They just went away, and a few more age groups are real shaky right now also. Yes we are just fine. No boys teams under u14. We constantly have to borrow Uruguay players just to have enough to field a team. Has anyone seen Kurt btw, we haven't seen him since the season ended as usual. But We at Atletico are just fine....
