It is a town team as it's Smithtown players wearing Slammers uniforms and pretending to be something else.

If you don't like the Slammers, don't join. And if they suck so bad, why are you wasting time posting about them? Either you're a loser with nothing better to do with your life, or you are actually concerned about the club affecting your kid and where he or she plays. Worry about your kid and the club he or she plays for.

I have the breakdown in an email and it's over 4k a year now. Not including winter. A lot of players are leaving and entire teams have folded. Over 4k to play in NAL. No thank you

Although I agree Slammers is a money grab, they were somehow able to get ECRL status for the girls for a club that had no business in getting one, especially if you look at the criteria for getting ECNL/RL status.

Ultimately, the NE ECRL is a money grab by ECNL/US Club but they sell a patch and dream, which everyone seems to want to chase.
