Anyone know what this is? is this meant to be like the A team for Smithtown/Sachem/Islip travel teams? Is it a separate entity not being run or involved with the town teams?

What's good about it is the competition is better than LIJSL and the travel isn't as taxing as some of the other options. The set up and structure looks to offer more stability and guarantee that the kids will always have a team to play on, which isn't always a guarantee for one-off EDP teams in smaller clubs, especially as kids get older and develop other interests or choose to concentrate on other sports.
Not so great, the price tag. Around $3000 to sometimes play local teams that cost under $1000.
