Some local day camps are still planning on running July/August assuming the state allows it. Probably will have kids in small groups with 1 coach per group.

Uh no for so many reasons. People were willing to take the risk for fundamental social change and almost all were wearing masks.

kids soccer can't be wearing mask and droplets will be in each others faces. Kids will be fighting for balls inches a way from each other breathing hard sweating etc with NO face coverings.

Not the same. Protest is civil disobedience by definition so no they are not allowed but they are doing it anyway. Also clubs have to obey local laws or they won't be covered by insurance and you know that doing anything without insurance in this country puts you at risk of losing your entire business. So until they get a green light from the CDC we'll have to hold off on competition. You may be right about August if the trend in decline of infections continues.

Looting is bad, rioters are bad violence is bad. Peaceful protesting is protected under the first amendment.

I don't understand your point and I don't think you understand mine. I said Clubs won't have insurance (liability) coverage if the state doesn't give a green light, therefore you can't have competition until then. I never said anything about people protesting getting covered by health insurance.

With the amount of people in close proximity to each other that are protesting, walking and biking in groups, sitting together in parks and at the beaches and there is no spike in cases then they should open up sports for the kids. Many of these people aren't even wearing masks.
