It's pretty crazy, Larry has literally posted his phone # on one of the threads telling Susa people to call him and he will put them in touch with this trainer who posted on a Susa thread-

"I am offering any team from SUSA an opportunity to be trained/coached for free if willing to leave SUSA for next season. If your team is disgusted with this SUSA travesty I am a former pro willing to give back to your kids who have suffered through this trying time! You parents should certainly not be punished financially!"

Coincidentally, this trainer is connected to LISC.

I don’t think he is holding them for ransom. I do think that either he heard something Susa or their owner said about him or he had some kind of disagreement and they insulted him in some way.

That, or he has to keep the controversy going to maintain any traffic on his site at all. I remember about 5 years ago or so, you could go on BOTN and there'd be 600-700 people viewing, every age group thread would be active with people commenting. Now if there's 70 people viewing it's a lot and the only threads with any action are the ones bashing Susa.

My kid plays for Susa and I'll admit, his cheerleading of Susa was embarrassing and cringe-worthy. It usually involved some type of vulgarity about masturbating (keep in mind the posts were in reference to teenage girls' soccer) or some absurd claim that the poster was jealous because their kid couldn't make a Susa team (ridiculous because A-he has no idea what type of player the poster has and B-Susa has a ton of teams per age group, everybody "makes" some team).

The guy is gross, uninformed and desperate to keep his pathetic "business" afloat. Clubs like FC Sesa, LISC and whoever else is the flavor of the month should really consider whether or not an alliance with this guy is in their benefit. Anyone who opines about "wankers" and people "touching themselves" when discussing children's soccer, is definitely someone you should think twice about aligning yourself with.
