Announcement is just as vague as the Smithtown one. Nothing is promised except getting the slammers name on the uniform. Wonder how much more the parents will have to pay to have that name.

Unless they are firing LIPS and importing a bunch of coaches from the California programs, it's just putting a new coat of paint on the old dodge and acting as if that made the engine run better.

Talked to a couple people involved in this. Sachem literally gets nothing out of this besides a new name and higher costs. Some people are really pissed off. It also might be a violation of their lease for the fields with the school district since they are outright partnering with a for-profit entity.

I am all but sure Sachem youth soccer will take a further decline.

Still plenty of low cost town clubs around for people that don't want to have to take on a second job to pay for kiddie soccer.

Once again, you people keep posting total crap without knowing what the hell you're talking about. Go crawl back under whatever rock your club lives under and don't worry about other clubs. If your club is so good, this should be of no concern to you

Same players, same parents, same coaches, same training organization but you get to spend even more money. Sounds like a winner to me.
