I guess wins justifies the all $$$$ you people spend at SUSA even if your kid touches the ball only once during a game.
Yes Barca having A team players go play with B/C teams to win is much better. I guess the Barca way is to cheat to win. Players are not allowed to play in multiple teams in the same tournament. I guess no morals justifies the $$$ you spend.

It's actually Albertson who owns the badge, not Susa. So Albertson won all those divisions, not SUSA. All of the coaches were Albertson trainers...

Ha! That's why there were SUSA t shirt wearing dads on fields where no SUSA games were playing. Trying to stir sh*t up. I guess I would rather watch teams that were properly trained than SUSA kick and run too.

Too bad for Barca that the younger teams that finance the operation horrible. The fairy dust is wearing off on them. Revenue is plummeting. Bye-bye.

Really? So the 09, 10 and 12 teams that won the tournament don't meet your standards? Got it. Thank you so much for your insight, phew.

You forget they have 3+ teams per age group.

Really, your counting 4th & 3rd division brackets as wins? Lame.

And you are basing 10 and 11 year old's performances at a local tournament as whether a club is folding.

Absolutely! The younger age groups is what pays the bills. Scholarships and player deals happen mostly when you get to 11v11. Now, would you pay boutique club pricing for a low division squad That plays 7v7? If they loose that base then they can’t survive.

Barca use to have almost 200+ players playing 7v7 and 9v9. Probably around 125+ playing 11v11, with a big chunk of those on scholarship. You do the math.

Yes I would pay for my kid to learn the game the right way from the start instead of wasting years at a club with garbage parent coaches. Also kids age out as they get older and many clubs cannot field teams certain years. This will be more apparent now with covid. Alot of u16 and up parents arent paying clubs for a season that isnt happening and showcases that are up in the air. So the next few years will be a challenge for alot of clubs.

Definitely true....we saw it with the 2010 age group. Kids played with multiple teams and the girls program have done this from the start.

                            A

You must be kidding... SUSA wrote the book on having top A level player show up for tourneys and play in a third division to win. Just happened this weekend at EM. We were waiting for the game before us to finish - Girls U14 team playing. SUSA was beating them like 5-0( the team had red shirts, didn't catch the town) and heard all the parents complaining that they could have won the game with their regular squad of girls and how a couple were pissed as their kid only got minimal playing time because the "ECNL" girls played the whole game.
Not the first time I hear that.

That is demonstrably false. ALL the SUSA u14 ECNL girls were prohibited from playing due to a covid 19 exposure. There were exactly zero SUSA u14 ECNL girls at the EM tourney.

Then somebody should talk to SUSA parents from Saturday at that game because that was what they were saying. I only chimed in on this because of that experience I had on Saturday. Check the score cards from EM on saturday, I am sure it was a 5-0 game and the opposing team wore red.
