They have to play it that way because Barca basically goes dark in the summer and winter. Parents are forced to organize on their own if they want their kid to get touches. Doubt that will change at Barca.

So let me get this straight. You pay all that money to play for Barca and they don’t play in the summer or winter. That is an amazing business model they have. I guess the “methodology” they sell is pay for a full year only play for half the year. If you want to play the other half of the year go play for another team.
