I don’t think they stiffed anyone, but Barcelona is responsible for paying for the facilities. If they weren’t than Barca Academy isn’t really owned by them.

Everything has been paid for, don't believe the BS. The hardest part for them is finding space, one because they are still relatively new on the scene and most of the older clubs already have a lock on where they rent, and two, since they drag their feet on everything they wait until the last minute to set things up so they have the last choice of what might be available. They are always scrambling because $$ and permissions for things really do come from Barcelona and over there they so damn laid back. They definitely are not New Yorkers in the sense of getting things done with urgency. Ask anyone who has any experience with dealing with people/companies from that part of the world.

Sorry pal, there are quite a few more people then the SUSA folks who know the back story and have knowledge of the situation, did you ever think of that. If you don’t think word got around quickly to other club directors and the such that Barca was not paying their bills then you’re really not that cognizant of the situation.

They took a little “siesta” from training so I’m not surprised it’s hard to find a facility in January. All their “teams” can come back in the fold because they don’t have to set up side tournaments on their own no more.

I don't know why a break is a big deal to start another negative thread, our Barca team took a 4 week break from practices over xmas and beginning of Jan, but during that time we have been playing every weekend in winter league. It seems alot of clubs take a break from training in December ( at least the big club we were previously at at for 5 years).

you mean like the $4k+ my neighbor paid for his kid to play on a SUSA "C" team that only won 1 game in the fall season. I am sure the SUSA guys are laughing their asses off all the way to the bank that they are getting away with fleecing you guys all that $$ and you keep coming back for more.
