But even if Delucia is out, that doesn't mean Barca is out. Barca has been operating without any real help from Delucia going on it's 3rd year now. What makes you think that they would pull out if Delucia pulled out?

I think the point that everyone is missing is that Barca is only partnering with them for the fields ..... If prospect belly's up that is on them and Barca will just keep going the way they are and find some other field deal that will take a few more years.... That was the beauty of it for Barca, they had no investment in the field, only a partnership on the one built as they would be the main tennent for 10 years with option for 10 more. They would get to rent it out to help offset the expense....

If you and Larry really only knew what they were talking about.... Barca is a huge club/company and alot of what they are doing in NY is branding to bring their brand to America. They can afford to spend the money to break into the US market. They are banking on that Soccer is going to continue to grow here and they want to be in on the huge market that is here....

The problem with larry's claim is that Barca is not prospect sports and prospect sports is not Barca. Barca is the club. Prospect sports is the facility. If Prospect sports wants to sell themselves, or at least sell off the rights to lease on the facility and the contracts with Barca, that isn't the same thing as saying that Barca itself is trying to sell the club off. LM is purposely conflating the two in his usual lame and unethical way in try to destroy those that are a threat to his pocketbook.

the article shows that PS is simply looking for investers to help fund and build the facility...This is actually common practice for building and ownership of Major Buildings in NYC and other places around the world (work for cbre so I know about this stuff)...its amazing how so much spin and bs by haters is out there.
