And do what - what good quality clubs can they pull in to improve the quality of competition? They're all in ECNL and won't leave. There's already enough poor quality ones and the NE doesn't need more of those. SSS is a perfectly fine NPL club but it's NPL. IT won't raise the bar. If USSF had balls they'd cut bottom dwelling teams but they'd rather keep everyone they can just for market share. No doubt if other clubs had somewhere to go they would, but they're locked out of ECNL.

Well we know this is a lie. NYCFC coaches train our players on how to pass the ball and play around defense. Fury only knows how to pull jerseys and swipe at players feet. Not to mention Fury teams are the best at the kick and run. They'll just leave a player as high up as they can and boot the ball them. Most the time because their players are out of breath and winded by halftime. NYCFC despite the ongoing club melee played the game the way its meant to be played. Results of great coaching are evident.

HA HA HA. Very funny. While I agree the refs were awful, Fury parents should be demanding their $ back from Mr Riley because your girls are not being taught soccer. Most would be better off in an MMA ring

I heard the officiating was terrible, which is the mechanism that taps-down chippy play, if that is not being enforced, its every man for themselves. The girls are the victims here, as I also heard some teams had some pretty-good injuries, ugh. Technically, FURY is currently playing a style very similar to E.C.N.L., while NYCFC/WC are playing the same style as the boys academy teams.

They just have a significant number of teams that adhere to what could be considered a similar style. It is definitely a fairly direct game with a premium on athleticism and size.

. I am sure they are working hard on what they are being taught. It must take hours of training to be untaught any soccer skills they may have ever had. Kick the ball long and hard and grab as many jerseys as you can does not come instinctively to most girls
