If by "solid", you mean 6th out of 9 in a conference that features a team with a -40 GD only 7 games in-then OK, sure, they're solid! LOL

Whoa, wasn't trying to bash GDA-sorry if it came off that way. I was just trying to point out that the kid stayed true to where she felt was the best club for her, regardless of all the talking points that were being floated about "top leagues" and this and that.

The only chatter there is is the nonsense in your head.

She was in WNT for some time before GDA, and SSS is in GDA because of the players they produced towards WNT.

She was also the best player on WNT, and always had a chance to train and play against ‘right’ competition - both in the club and outside.

Why are all of the rest of the clubs in GDA then? You know, the NPL ones that can't produce anything but field hockey players.

So true. No such thing as development clubs and trainers use that term when the teams are losing. Don’t worry people we are developing . Lol
If they are developing why play in leagues , keep score , have refs, and travel all over the place to play if you are so called developing. Love the wordage they use like don’t care about the score. Then why are the kids playing in tournaments with major travel involved lol

We all fell for it. But we all need to wake up now. 25 player roster and its about development. Play half a game it was about development. they could have charges everyone less when they added paying customers. But no way, the only thing being developed is the coaches pool house.

It would be really terrific if the GDA relegated poor performers. It is really the only way to try to keep some competitive balance in these leagues. Rarely has a poor performer risen the league standings from one season to the next. More likely is that the bottom teams suffer more turnover creating a worse team. However it is possible that a top EDP/NPL team could provide better competition.
