if anyone is curious, just take screen shots of rosters and # of starts at the end of October and compare to the beginning of December. There are multiple clubs and teams with very light rosters right now that won't be in December.

So, the are not GDA now and join later.

Practically 1/2 of every Match Fit ECNL team from the beginning of the year gets pushed down to make space for new recruits. How is that different.

PDA stacks teams with players for playoffs.

It is the reality of youth soccer clubs and customers should understand that, manage their expectations, and not be so disappointed with the realization that all these clubs are businesses and are run as such. Any dissatisfied player will be quickly replaced with the next sucker. That is it.

Looks like MatchFit is taking over this NY Forum too. Their NJ one is a mess. MFA strategy is 1. Put 10 year old all over social media doing everything else but playing soccer (its like daycare over there)

2. Tear other clubs down to make themselves look better. The false equivalency method of running a club.

Great point. But if you go to the NJ Forum MFA is getting trounced in there so they come onto the NY GDA forum. So sad. I heard someone is taking their latest tax return and filing an IRS complaint. Maybe that's why they are flailing about. Or maybe they are losing kids to GDA? Who knows. But go back to NJ either way. Some of us drive past MFA to go to World Class where we have lights and a snack bar.

Just google a couple of the players on the older teams names and you will get your answer. NJ High Schools have all their players listed in Max Prep.

Yes, those Max Prep are not accurate- my Daughter played HS soccer last year and then playing DA this year and no HS Soccer- hasn't stepped on a HS field this year and her name still appears on the Max Prep??

In theory DA players should be some of the best on their HS teams - even more so that DA clubs are only going to look away for their better players they want to keep. Bench warmers need not apply. They should be be getting some media mentions and accolades at the end of the season so it's easy enough to track down if anyone wanted to
