I read it too. I wrote it down and then I read it. I believe everything I read.

lol. Go play for Solar then. You can just fly to practice 4 times a week.

Or PDA for that matter. None of those clubs matter at all to kids stuck playing on LI. Here we just pick between meh and meh.

The only time PDA 03 ECNL [as SKY BLUE U15 PDA] played against Solar 03 GDA they beat them 2:0 I believe. It was a part of the showcase in North Carolina.

Ha ha ha ..... jokes on you .... are you a liar or just plain stupid. The games were late winter/early spring:

Want to see awful soccer .... take a peek at FSA (the dark team) vs Oakwood (White).

FSA is terrible. No one is defending them vs Oakwood. Even OW isn't representative of GDA either. A decent club in a weak division that performs poorly at national events.

                They’re both awful. Tallest midget

My personal opinion is if we played every game to a tie, or a one-goal game, we are in the right level. Yes, even if a majority of those games were losses.

You keyed on a throw-away statement I made as not something integral to what my point was. Apologies for the confusing intent.
So I take the best player from a smaller club and she becomes the 10th best on my PDA team. I then get her committed to a school she would have been exposed to and I get credit for that?

No one looks at the player who turns down PDA or Stars, stays at a mid level club and ends up excelling, playing big minutes at a soccer power and excelling. Thats story is not out there because no one looks for it.

There are many kids who have taken the PDA Stars route and the assumption is that it was better because they committed (would have anyway) and won more club games (important?)
Its become the accepted wisdom but its based on very little.

Bigger clubs will have more commits, but in reality they are not producing better players than most of the clubs

And then there are the kids who ride the bench but would start and play the entire game on lesser clubs who have lost their confidence, passion and flow by not playing in games but would develop more by playing elsewhere and be happier.

And then you have the player who is offered a full-ride to a decent D1, but decides to quit....

Oh boy starting to look a bit crowded here at LISC. I hope MF and GB fulfill their promises to girls that have been here. Starting to look a bit like a money grab. I hope not.

No rosters posted so this appears to be from a parent of a player feeling a bit threatened?

No offense, but I've taken the tact if my kid isn't good enough, tell me now. Don't string me along and find out later.

Maybe you should consider it? Being on a team, not even a very good team, and being worried about PT tells me you are on the wrong team, in the wrong league, at the wrong level.

I agree, tell us now. Don’t let me find out down the road that we are here only for our checkbook. Keep your promise is all I am saying.

Wrong. It’s not about playing time. It’s about bringing over troublemakers and second rate players so long as they came from Alby.
