How can US Soccer allow Albertson to stay in the GDA? It’s embarrassing for those girls, their parents, their opponents, their opponents parents, the Refs and the trainers to have to bear witness to those games. Their coaches know they shouldn’t be there. The only one who thinks they should be in that league is PR. more money, more money

Until commercial success is a function of quality NOTHING will change.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostI'm guessing Albertson and Fury are out of the GDA. Go look at their websites. Fury has not updated their tryouts since April of 2018. Paul Riley is no longer on staff at either location. Albertson is only advertising tryouts for EDP teams and makes no mention of GDA
However, Under tax law, the IRS would attempt to tax them as affiliated entities. Not sure they would win though.

Some try to point to the lower teams, but there are terrible teams in all leagues. A quick walk through the ECNL standings will tell you that.

Would love to seethe players respected in the youth soccer world, but so far we are all still waiting for the most part.so far I am not holding my breath.
The coaches believe there is top talent in the DA
HS is for fun. A Social event for most. Nothing wrong with it
The more serious players ( for the most part) will love the da

The poster was not commenting on the strength or weakness of the league or insulting your little superstar as hundreds of top d1 coaches vie for her services. Poster was merely commenting that gda players that also want to play HS do so by joining the league after HS season ends
