GDA is imploding all across the country. Crossfire Premier in Washington, one of the top clubs in the country for past decade, has officially left the GDA today to go all-in ECNL. None of the clubs that were recently announced entering GDA can hold a candle to this club that is leaving.

Who will be next? Rumored to be more west coast big names out soon. Slammers already out last year and now Crossfire Premier...major arteries are cut and the bleeding won’t be stopped.

Not the OP, but look at the date from the press release in the OP’s link. It became “official” just a few hours ago. Nothing wrong with posting a confirmation today for something that was rumored yesterday.

Has anyone noticed that Cedar Stars Bergen, Cedar Stars Monmounth and SJEB are all owned by the same guy? Did US Soccer call up Capelli and ask them to help them out because teams were pulling out on the East Coast? Is US Soccer being bought out by Capelli? Inquiring minds want to know.

He currently owns 6 clubs in the DA. He owns the Rush organization, so he can pretty much fill in any area of the country with a club. I'm sure he is on US Soccer's speed dial

Some people feel vindicated that they were opposed to GDA from the outset. Its very childish, but such is life.
