The first is correct for my players and sermanni was the only male I was aware of and he was not there for long. But I will correct myself even though you were super rude about it.

For eight of the last 10 years, the WNT has been coached by a female coach.

The other poster said "future" coach. And Riley has been under consideration for the WNT position for a while now.

Paul Riley has never been considered as a coach for the USWNT. Never.

Rumors were swirling last year that he was in contention for the US U20 WNT. He didn't get the job, Jitka Kilmkova did. Then the rumors started that he was in contention for the
US U23 WNT, but It doesn't look like that job is currently available, lol.

No doubt the guy is jockeying for a foothold in the USSF, but to say he is in consideration for USWNT is effing hilarious!!! Especially when he got axed from the Thorns gig..

Seriously, The guy has run Albertson into the ground. Knowingly lied to parents for months about being kicked out of the ECNL. Having tryouts for ECNL knowing that it wasn't an option for them in the Fall. The kids who tried out for ECNL and wanted to play HS are now all stuck because tryout season is over. Good luck with that pipe dream of coaching the WNT. LMAO.

If he did ever land a national team coaching job he would have to cut ties completely with Albertson

I would recommend NYCFC, but only if your kid is talented, and you are committed....

                Sports Illustrated disagrees.

FYI-"cal sports media" was (now defunct) a digital sports blog/website. Oh, this quote was also from 2012...and your SI article is from 2014, you know, before PR got axed from the Portland Thorns.

This is why people can't stand the Alby lemmings, you should actually tout *real* accomplishments, there definitely are some, stick to those!

Normally I can't stand all the posts from the NYCFC *********, but after all the nonsense with Alby this week, one can't help but wonder about the stability of the teams and organizations. If anyone thinks this is not affecting the current Fury players, think again.

Please spell this out- the posts from NYCFC
also spell out how you think it affects the current Fury players.

I am not in the know.

If I am a Fury player and good enough, I 100% go to NYCFC. Get a carpool or something going. Either that or go to or back to East Meadow. There is no in-between right now. Alby has become a joke.

After hearing the feedback from Fury parents last year and now this whole debacle with Alby having 2 DA teams. Chaos seems like a good word to describe what’s happening.

There's some obnoxious dad from NYCFC that's always posting on this and other soccer boards, that's all. In the grand scheme of things, it's no biggie-just annoying.

As far as Fury GDA, the girls are freaking out wondering what this means for them. Tons of rumors flying around in group chats about what PR might make them do. IE-
-Some are afraid they're going to get moved to the "2" team permanently
-Some are afraid they'll get moved around depending on the opponent
-Some are afraid they're going to split Fury teams right down the middle and backfill with the players who tried out for ECNL

That's just what I remember my kid telling me. The worst part is the kids said its not even worth asking, because-"it doesn't matter, they'll just lie to us anyway and do whatever they want".

                            Nice...

At the meeting the other night, PR plainly stated and was recorded by some parents in attendance that the ECNL group would be an entirely seperate club (Albertson Fury DA) not FC Fury, in a seperate division. There is the possibility that a kid might be switched permanently from one club to the other at their request based on geography- so easier to train or if one club was stacked at a certain position and the other club is shorthanded at a position, to balance the rosters, position wise.

Either way its a shame that no one trusts him and he has lost credibility of the members. If that is the case, which is understandable based on the timing of the announcement of leaving ECNL, families should consider leaving. One must be able to trust whoever you are placing your kids present and future in. After all , in a sense they are teachers and caretakers.

We are potentially new to the club and attended the meeting. After all that has transpired, this is far from our first choice. Fortunately, we have left our options open.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF OFFERS ( tryout results) HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE ENTRIE GROUP OF GIRLS IN EACH AGE GROUP THEY WANT FOR THE THEIR 2ND GDA TEAM (formerly known as ECNL)? my kid for one has not received any communication other than the letter sent out to the entire club yesterday afternoon about leaving ECNL. We just want to hear so we can move on.
