My son is u14 and plays for a club in the EDP league. He joined this team 2 1/2 years ago, and every year 2 or 3 kids get cut and 2 or 3 new kids join. Does this continue through the high school years, or are rosters pretty set by then? At what age do they stop cutting and adding? Or don't they?

I've had two go through and now my 3rd is that age. There's always a little turnover each year, some by choice some by not being given an offer to return. The ones not asked back are always the bottom performers. The ones that leave it's either to go to DA or to focus on another sport. This year with the calendar year change a lot of clubs cleaned house and will probably require more fine tuning. A club should always be looking to improve its performance.
