We heard about how NY Surf went go the San Diego Surf tournament over the summer, how great it was for the kids, how it was a prestigious tournament that only they were attending, etc.

Can't have it both ways. Double standard.

Having said that its about Surf in general. No players are being called out. It takes 11 to lose a game, not 1. The LM and the NY Surf admins splashy buildup of NY Surf over the past few months made NY Surf out to be a twin of San Diego Surf. It's the Surf "success" we're watching and chuckling at.

Frankly if NY Surf wants to be with the top national teams you're going to have to develop a much thicker skin and let things slide. Any successful club is the target of criticism. Get used to it.

So target the club. Why target a team of girls that were not able to win a game over another team of girls? Surf or any other club cannot miraculously will themselves to win soccer games because of the name of the club. If they did that, call the out. Did this team and players do anything to deserve criticism on a chat forum?

from my view there are people straddling both boards spewing misinformation - the surf hater guy definitely just lied so we should call him out on that if we are to have more integrity than BOTN...I checked and couldn't find anywhere where they stated they were only ny club going to surf cup. Let's all get back to sharing facts and hopefully that surf hater can stay on BOTN!

What part of only being able to be a player for NY Surf to play with the TOP players that makes up the SURF SELECT team? Sounds pretty exclusive to me.

in all likelihood no other club from this area would want to make the trek out to Surf. Many wouldn't qualify anyway. No proof, just logic
