Surf didn't even start forming teams until late june, well after most kids were locked into other teams. Except for the couple of teams that came over to Surf as existing teams the rest are going to be far over their heads in the divisions they were put in.

But according to LM the Surf coaches will turn them into D1 players. Yes the coaches are just that good :)

This is the same team that lost all their games at EM. What does a coach say after this kind of blowout?

I feel sorry for the players. The U14 girls are capable of understanding club branding. I bet some are regretting leaving their old teams.

I would have loved to been on the sidelines listening to the parents are they realize they were duped by the Surf hype.

I feel bad for Surf as well -- they actually do have some good staff associated with the teams. But their poor timing and lack of geographical focus hurt them from attracting the types of players they really needed. If the teams they did end up putting together continue to lose really badly, then their reputation is shot.

It may have been a 14-0 loss, but remember, it was also a college showcase!


In all seriousness, I feel bad for the kids whose parents bought into the hype. Note that I don't feel sorry for the dumbass parents who spent $2,500 for this privilege.

14-0 makes me laugh, sorry for the kids, but the money grab from Surf was obvious and happy to see them lose. Hope they continue to lose games, then players.

NYSC poster can you rank order your clubs U14G teams by color? Which ones are true NYSC and which ones were acquired? Thx.

Why are they in the 1st division? That just doesn't make any sense.

There will be a lot of lop sided results this fall all over until the newly configured teams get sorted into correct divisions.
