There will be regular travel divisions between U9 and U17. Above that there will be a combined U18/U19/U20 division. All divisions will be by birth year with the exception that U20 players will only be eligible if born August 1st or later making the top division this fall August 1st 1997 through December 31st 1999.
Teams will be allowed to have players play a full two years up, even in the younger ages.
If a club has multiple teams within a single age group from U9 through U12 they will be able to share players on an unlimited basis. Any sharing done between two different age groups, even in these younger ages, will require a club player pass. There will be 5 club player passes per team and those players count towards the roster size. Those club player pass limits apply to all ages.
To make up for the end of U8 travel LIJSL will hold four developmental weekends per season where U7 and U8 teams can sign up for free to participate and PDP trainers will run the players through a light workout before coaching them in games. The club coaches will not be running their own teams but instead assisting as needed. This is expected to be a learning experience for both the youth players and the youth coaches. The players have to be registered and insured within a club to participate.
