NYCFC running a girls da would create a lot of female fans for nycfc!

There has ben speculation in the GDA debates about MLS clubs running teams. Certainly the women's professional circuit is a practically nonexistent, especially in certain areas of the country, and certainly is run on a wing and a prayer. But how do MLS clubs benefit running GDA? I can't imagine they'd run them for free like they do the boys side. I suppose if they start a RDS-like system for girls, camps, etc. that would help pay for it.

USSDA 2016-2017 schedule came out yesterday. No Albertson games scheduled. I guess you can say they are officially out. Feel bad for the kids.

Same - it isn't easy to find spots on good teams at the older ages. I guess on a positive note this year had more openings than usual because of the age change mandate.

Well they can have boys and girls ecnl now at least. Still quality and prob make more money with ecnl than DA anyway. Only problem is they have to wait a year.
