My son plays for a club in Connecticut, although we live in new york. What clubs are there in the vicinity of Poughkeepsie or upper Westchester. I've heard of SPA in Newburgh and World Class (my son's team has played them). Any others? Any near Albany?

Thank you!
I wish the New York section of this board was more active . . . but I'm hopeful that if I keep checking in every few days I might get more replies :-)
I'm looking for clubs that play in the EDP league or equivalent.

Any particular feedback on the clubs/teams?
I think SPA in Newburgh merged with Quickstrike . . .
Any differences between them and World Class?
And anything about the other clubs mentioned would be great.
If it helps I have a 2003 boy, playing u13 now; and will play u13 the year after, under the new Jan. 1 cutoff.

Bumping this up.
I'm most interested in --
Quickstrike -- including, are they opening a Lagrage brance?
SPA (Soccer Plus Academy based in Newburgh)
World Class
Any others in their vicinity that I should consider?
What about upper Westchester?

It depends were you are located and the drive you want to make and age group. Some of the clubs offer Pre acadamy teams. academy teams. So look at the North east pre acadamy web site lists all the major clubs in the area
