I saw this morning two NYCFC girls teams won League Cups. I didn't even know NYCFC had a girls academy. Is this legit? It would be great for girls soccer if the club is serious this time.

The girls program is exists for a while. But it has not attracted enough telents due to without ECNL or GA badge. -
The Philadelphia Union teams have the same issues on the girls side. The talent just doesn't go to these professional clubs to train. I can't speak for NYCFC but the Union appears to be a money grab.Comment

NYCFC used to be World Class's DA teams. Then they were the World Class ECNL teams. Coup[le years ago NYCFC realized there was money to be made in Westchester/Connecticut by starting their own girls teams who now play in EDP.Comment
