Somone needs to send photos of the teams with their cups to the MLS teams so that at least the MLS teams take action.

Long Island Soccer Academy 2009 could muster only a single win in EDP league play but somehow won the Eastern New York State Cup. If anyone thinks that he players who could win only one game in the regular season are the same players as won the State Cup, I have a nice bridge to sell you.

I think MLS kids opting to dual card in USYS is a good thing. MLS kids need playing time and USYS kids get a better teammate to play with. The only person who can actually moan is the USYS kid who looses minutes.
If I was on the outside looking in and couldn’t get noticed by the academy, playing on one of these hybrid teams is a very good option. There is a reason why the MLS kid chose that program.

Btw…ECNL on the boys side is trash. Let’s refrain from including them in the conversation. The best USYS teams routinely play at a higher level then SUSA, EMSC, and Manhattan. ECNL is a bad league with some really bad teams.
