    Are referees influenced by SUSA?

My kid played against SUSA yesterday and I was amazed at the abuse and cat calls at the ref when things did not go there way. Ref gave PK against them near. end of game and after lots of arguing with coach and dads he changed his mind. is this normal?

It is when you understand that the parents on SUSA belong to the mafia and not agreeing with them will get your knees broken. I am sure one of the SUSA parents lifted his shirt to show what he was packing in his waistband. After falshing that I would change the call too.

What was the score at the game? Would the PK made a difference? Sometimes refs can use discretion in awarding PK's based on scoreline, but to change their decision is little suspect.

sounds like the refs need more training to me....either you got the guts to stick with your decision (good, bad or indifferent) to me signs of a decent referee.

If you are influenced by parents, players, coaches, if you can't take a bit of heckelism by the fans/coaches you have thin skin and you definitely should not be a soccer referee.

Suck it up refs...call the game as you see it, stand by your decisions and ignore any comments from the side line.

Most refs struggle to call a foul.
