    Double Standard

So apparently NJYS is now not allowing Matchfit Shore 09 girls to represent New Jersey in Regionals as State Cup Champions because of some loop hole in the rules. To be fair rules are rules and if the fact that they played 11v11 in USYS disqualifies them - then it is what it is. That being said they did win the u13 Mid Atlantic Conference division which in itself automatically qualifies them for Regionals 11v11. So, if they can’t play 9v9 then surely they should be able to play 11v11, right? Wrong…apparently they don’t won’t us in the 11v11 bracket either. Now to be fair NJYS should look at Texas and how USYS is allowing the 09 Solar team to play in the 08 division since they won the U13 flight. Can’t keep out at team that won 09 State Cup and 08 EDP - pick your poison. Evan or Brad do you care to comment?? Double standard!!!!

I think this happened because USYS is well aware that all the other clubs are scared to play you. You guys are like soooo good. I’ve never seen (I mean, read on TS) such talent in my whole life. Like Snooki and the situation, You certainly are the shore. Good luck next year in ecnl when you start playing real soccer

Even if some people dislike the parents' behaviour for any reason, 12y old kids should not be punished for that. The kids have worked hard and have earnt their place in the regionals.

So NJYSA wouldn't let this team play up as 08 for State Cups but then disqualified them based on the fact that they did not play in a 2009 league?

Why wouldn't they be able to play in U13 Regionals if they have already won the league?
