Very competitive game 4-3, back and forth, toe to toe. Lead changes, great spirit from both sides and a good overall battle. To see the same team now lose 5-0 and 4-0 to the same FCV team is actually sad. Hope they are able to close the gap again.
That’s a big drop off did FCV get that much better or CSA that much worse?

Maybe its because here in the NJ area the game has gotten more and more physical with the officials calling less and less fouls...so when a winning team travels and they actually call fouls it rewards the higher skilled teams over the big strong direct high pressure ones

One club has aspirations and quality to get into ECNL, the other just happy they can beat up on weak competition in GA until the play the one club in their division that has any quality left. You figure out which is which.

Why is FCV not making a move to ECNL to play more competitive league matches?
Surely this is FAKE NEWS. CSA won a couple games at least.

Driving to an away game hours away and then getting out of a car to play a game against a good team can have an effect on performance.

Totally agree, look at when FCV played at CSA, they lost pretty much every game too. Not to mention it was a very hot day and the refs were awful down there very favor to home team.

That’s why important to stay at an ECNL sanctioned hotel the night before.

Who is forcing you to drive that day? If it is too far, book a room. Do you need someone's permission to use common sense?

You don't need a sanctioned hotel. Use your member points if you want to stay somewhere closer.

The refs were terrible and there was a ton of traffic that day. Spent 10 hours on the road only to play 20 min.

Terrible, why do they only play one game with travel 5hrs away? Seems like the system has gone totally haywire with this crazy scheduling. Does the league make these schedules or the clubs?
