Lots of chatter on here about ECNL this or that. I think everyone agrees it’s the best league in terms of quality and exposure for girls as a whole. As a secondary option it seems the area is more gray between GAL and ECRL as they go toe to toe competing for players, college exposure etc. What goes the GAL need to do to establish itself as a clear number 2 option to ECNL? I read that quite a few GA clubs bailed and joined ECRL. Are there ECRL clubs that are leaving to join GA? Perhaps a battle of attrition. Very confusing landscape.

Tough call very evenly matched. Some clubs have an edge with ECRL others with GA. For example PDA Shore ECRL is a better club than CSA GA. Better training, coaches and college placement and exposure. ECRL? I think someone saw goal differentials in the negative 80s for some of the local teams. May be better in other parts but here it appears to be just awful.
