Correct there are several sub par teams at the club so it’s easy to confuse one team for another. Complete bozos assume it’s only one team that’s crap.

Not that teams have to "win" in a showcase, but by now you are probably realizing that there are PDA parents who didn't drink the stupid cool-aide and really know what the club shortcomings are.

What are the next NJ clubs to get GAL?

There are several that could get it.

Agree this area has a multitude of strong clubs. But which few will actually get GAL?

I would say Philly Coppa, FC Copa, Wall, or PDA Shore in that order. Hopefully a few of them get it and not just one.

I would put the Nationals and Lower Merion before PDA Shore.

                  CSA Hudson
                  CSA Staten Island
                  CSA Newark

I forgot there were so many strong clubs in pa/nj. I guess that’s why the “academy” clubs have become so watered down in this area.

PDA Shore would do very well in GAL likely top 3 in all age groups. Why would they want to go to a subpar league where clubs are leaving GAL to join ECRL? Town clubs like Twin Co, Brick, Toms River, Wall etc would be much better fits for GAL.

PDA Shore is perfect fit with those clubs. Would be good add to GAL.

That’s part of it. But ever since GDA came along, the academies have generally fielded more watered down ,weaker teams in pa and nj.

This is largely correct. That’s why the top teams in the 3 leagues are generally equivalent talent-wise now. Hasn’t always been that way, for sure.

Would add others like Parsippany, Middletown, Deptford, Washington Twsp etc to the list of good choices for GA expansion. The reality is if you ain’t growing you ain’t trying in today’s youth soccer world.

                                Well said. Great clubs.
