Again, have not seen any of the high level teams around NJ (ECNL or GA) play "continually bomb from the back field and the kids rarely touch the ball".

GA generally plays a better style

Def not kick and run. They're not a 8 year old Town team. However, to claim that they play anything other than direct is a lie. It's American soccer and they do it well

          I disagree

I've watched multiple games live as well as the ICC futures and national championship v LAFC on YouTube. Please point me to a game where they've played possession soccer and built from the back. Perhaps, my sample size is too small. I'm very willing to change my opinion based on data

              Way too small.

The receiving player may get close to it and you will hear good hustle from a few but the reality is that she blew it.

Or as others have already mentioned the "good" player that takes extra unnecessary touches and then plays it after the play has broken down/defense can recover.

Why not throw a hospital ball at a teammate that could have been played early and given the receiving player more space/time but instead chose to have a few more video moments of their own for posterity.
Common, how about those threw balls to no one because no one knows how to make a run?

It's really hard to compare them to the girls in NJ and what is happening with women's soccer now. People are forgetting there are MANY girls all over the state are on boys team and when they decide to emerge and play on the girls side - a lot will change.
No it won't because almost all of them are playing on daddy coached town teams in local leagues. They may have experience against boys but they never learn how to play the game.

I have watch a couple of games and rarely observed that. Most of the time those teams have 70% possession of the ball.

Some confuse "high press" as playing "direct" but its just an intersection where you don't really cycle the ball when you win it on the opposing 1/2.
Easy to keep possession when your heads better then the other team.

You watch any of the SJEB games for GA? How about some of the NEFC ones? More then a few defender to striker hugging the last defender launching going on. Especially when they were losing.

Not sjeb. They are more of a Ticqui-Tacqui style of play. Not direct at all.

So, all the haters that spelled doom for PDA Blue at Nationals because of the poor showing at the showcase, how do you feel now? PDA Blue is undefeated in every age group that has played so far.
