Why stop it? The clubs want to be in ECNL not GA. If your kid was on a club team that had a chance to get into ECNL wouldn't you be pissed if someone stopped it from happening?

The ECNL is acting like a pack of vultures picking at the GA's dead carcass. Someone needs to put a stop to this.

US Soccer should set up as the ECNL is absolutely destroying GA. Stealing clubs, players and coaches left and right. It’s complete nonsense and someone has to put a stop to it. We lose top players to ECNL and replace them with township players some even coming from MOSA.

Why did the GA not become more successful? Why do the top kids leave for ECNL clubs?

There should only be one top conference. On the boys side, ECNL plays second fiddle to MLS Next and there is no issue there.

Many of you forget that ECNL is NON-Profit. The ECNL Headquarters in Richmond is small and they do not have a lot of employees' either. Nobody at ECNL is getting rich and from my understanding of the operation, it really is for the good of the game.

Now research the EDP owner and you will find a much different story.

A petition should be started as the pay to play model needs to be abolished once and for all. Time for US Soccer to step up and stop ECNL from constantly stealing players and clubs from GA. Enough is enough.

Prop up NWSL and make it a better product to watch. Pay minimum decent salaries. Back up NWSL with a feeder GA pathway and all of a sudden a petition is not needed.

You sir are part of the problem with youth soccer in this country. Constant poaching of teams and players by ECNL. Not really fair to the GA clubs that developed these players from the ground up. These clubs invest a lot of time and effort creating great players and here come PDA and MF at U15 to scoop them up. Just ain’t right. I’m sure we can at least agree on that.

They pay to get developed and then they leave willingly. Either provide incentive to keep them or just accept the system.

This is exactly what’s happening to our team now, constant poaching. It’s not great for stability. Even worse the players and families don’t even say thank you and then PDA claims they “developed” them. Just sick.

GA is the top platform for girls in the nation - until ECNL swoops in to steal our girls :(
