Any chance STA goes back to having their "top" team go back to EDP? ECNL is most likely off the table, but GA is not a league I want my daughter in. I'm hoping they reconsider or next year, we will have to leave.

They have USYS and ECP teams so why not just play on one of those?

Because you always want to play on a club's best team. That team represents the club.

So people expect a club to remove their best team from a league to suit their kid. Sad thing is I wouldn't put it past a good amount of parents to actually think that way.

All Parents to what is best for their kid. All clubs to what is best for the club's bottom line.
When the clubs interest aligns with any individual parents/kids needs then their interests are aligned and the parent keeps paying. When it doesn't, then the kid leaves.

There is no altruism in youth soccer.

In this case the parent should go to a club who's top team plays in the National league.

Both interests will be aligned.

Apparently FC Copa 05 only lost to PDA Blue 05 1-0 recently. So much for mighty PDA. Can you imagine if FC Copa would play STA GA or even USYS? No contest.

That was their PDA's regional team and FC Copa still lost 1-0

FC Copa would be top 3 in GA across age groups. Very underrated club. Their 05 and 06 alone would put a hurting on both STA and CSA teams at those age groups.

Their 06 and 05 teams play against STAs USYS teams. How have they done?

At PDA they are in the 5th flight with STA, East Meadow and MFA 2nd teams. Just like Nationals, best this group easily or keep quiet.

That’s a crazy part of what’s happening in youth soccer these days. Better clubs like Nationals get left out and STA, PSA, CSA....get all the benefits.

Literally no one (except their players and parents) give a **** about NJ Nationals. Stop trying to make them “a thing.” I’d be hard-pressed to think of a more irrelevant NL club.
