There are a few really good coaches that care more about the game and the girls.

The vast majority of the parents who respond here’s knowledge goes as far back as when their daughters joined a club soccer team. Their knowledge is basically emotional and how it effects them and their daughters situation. It’s what they think more than reality of the soccer landscape.

Agreed. Bottom line- never ever leave a winning team. Nothing kills the spirit like losing. Lesson learned.

I would say that is true and that's why soccer sucks in this area. However, i would also state that the majority of coaches in this area and on this forum take advantage of parents looking to get soccer development for their children and they usually only get ripped off because of their lack of knowledge. They also almost always make it about winning and money, especially at larger clubs

Matchfit is mostly better than STA and I would put WCFC over PDA North for development but not winning

The original post was about "showcasing" not development.

and this is about proximity to North. If we include south, certainly Penn Fusion would be included.

I put matchfit lower than STA because of the relative college commits compared to their superior platform.

PDA white fifth because of their brand of soccer and quantity of players.

The GA platform is a good alternative platform to ECNL but they cannot compete with their history and impressive college college commitments . maybe someday but for now they are the second alternative.


Worldclass is #2 because it has a history of smaller roster size and a continued commitment to its current players

Naw, sounds about right. you can argue Matchfit or STA depending what's important to each parent but that is what I would do with my kid.
