It’s amazing how GA parents (not just at STA) are still drinking this koolaid. The GA should drop the whole we are the best platform for girls in the USA slogan. Everyone knows that’s not the case and when top clubs, top coaches and top players are already jumping ship what are you really left with? Playing the likes of LISC, Empire, Metro and CSA???? Please.

They have been telling everyone on the side, and then pulling the rug. Shame as the club was top notch in USSDA days. This GA thing has been experimental at best.

Top-notch because of Shaun Cryer and his Stallion girls. Not because of Tim. There were 3 original STA girls on the 05 DA team, the rest were Stallions.

The crazy thing is SC made that age group the best and when he left it was torn down. Now Tim moving on will destabilize the club even further. Wonder are these folks leaving because the GA is not all it was cracked up to be or just random opportunities elsewhere?

It’s difficult for STA being in PDAs back yard. They have talent coming in from u7 and u8. Their atmosphere is a nice family atmosphere but because their current GA league is the second best option for parents , once kids reach highschool ,it’s the perfect picking ground for PDA. When the better kids start to look for the best recruiting opportunities, those kids naturally start to drift to bigger and better club in their back yard. STA has become the perfect farm system for PDA. They(STA ) need to figure out away to stop the migration.

Kelly and Tim play their games with players and everyone knows it. They have their favorites and are very self righteous. There are plenty of kids each year that move on to do well elsewhere.

Avoid this place like the plague. With the departures and the GA diluted by the month it’s heading down hill. ECNL is eating their lunch and PDA and MF are reaping the benefits.
