Most of the parents seemd more concerned about the allegations about the MF Shore technical director being a drunk and drinking in front of the kids. That's all that was talked about at tryouts. One parent even had a video on their phone of him at a bar with the parents visibly drunk. That's the more interesting story than whether or not PSA is keeping the teams seperate

They tried to cherry-pick the top players from NJX onto PSA teams and relegate the rest to "B teams". NJX Parents weren't happy and most left for other clubs. Last I heard less than 25% of NJX players were joining PSA.

Girls side scattered as well. Some 2011’s are C team at MFS, which is kind of stupid considering, others went to CSA. same with the 2010’s making up most of the new 2010 team at MFS adding in some township players, I think some 2009 went to CSA and some stayed at PSA, I don’t think any went to MFS as I don’t believe they have enough for a 2009 B team. I’m sure someone from MFS will correct me if I’m wrong so wait for it.

You are correct, most stayed at PSA , and from what I was told, the 2009 teams are not going to be a "A" team and "B" team, both 09 groups will be considered the "A". I'm guessing that's because a majority of the NJX team wanted to stay together and PSA wanted to keep them happy. A couple of the girls went to CSA, and I had a friend who did attend the MFSHORE tryouts and he said there wasn't enough kids to form a 09 "B" team.

A couple of 2009 girls went to MFS, but they will be playing on the 2008 team. I think 4 girls from the 2010s went to MFS. The rest of the MFS 2010 team is from PDA Shore, CSA, MSA, and Hazlet. Most of the 2011s went to MFS, with a few who went to other clubs as you said.

A couple of 09's got scammed by RT to join his team as practice players with the hope of playing if injuries occurred (they did) but haven't been pulled up. Originally, they were told along with the rest of the NJX 09 team that they would have enough players for a 09 Shore White team for the spring. Apparently, the numbers weren't as high as RT promised so no white team was formed for the spring or even for next season. The 2 original players who left as practice players won't play a single game this spring and will play on a 2008 team in the fall.

From their most recent post, PSA Monmouth is looking to fill out rosters in almost every age group for boys and girls. If they need bodies for Premier teams that is one thing, but if they cant field Elite teams after merging with NJX that’s a problem.
